The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Delivering structured engaging lessons that promote scientific literacy and critical thinking
Supporting pupils with practical investigations and assessment preparation
Monitoring progress and implementing targeted strategies to raise attainment
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning
Supporting whole-school improvement initiatives and enrichment activities
Maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and compliance
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Biology Chemistry Physics or related field
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
A proactive reflective and collaborative approach
