The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Delivering engaging lessons that develop scientific understanding and analytical thinking
Supporting pupils with practical investigations and exam preparation
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing intervention strategies
Contributing to curriculum refinement and departmental improvement
Participating in STEM enrichment and wider school initiatives
Working collaboratively within a supportive Science team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in a Science-related discipline
Experience teaching secondary Science
Strong subject knowledge and practical laboratory skills
High expectations for behaviour and achievement
A proactive and reflective teaching approach
