The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Delivering engaging lessons across performance composition and listening
Supporting pupils with coursework controlled assessments and examination preparation
Leading or supporting musical ensembles and performance groups
Contributing to concerts productions and whole-school events
Monitoring pupil attainment and implementing strategies to raise standards
Contributing to departmental quality assurance and curriculum development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or related discipline
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong instrumental or vocal leadership skills
High expectations for academic and performance standards
A proactive and collaborative approach to departmental development
