The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Delivering engaging and rigorous lessons across a range of media and techniques
Supporting pupils with GCSE and A Level coursework and portfolio preparation
Promoting high standards of presentation creativity and critical analysis
Monitoring attainment and implementing strategies to raise achievement
Contributing to exhibitions displays and enrichment opportunities
Supporting departmental planning and quality assurance processes
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Fine Art or a related discipline
Experience teaching Art at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
A track record of securing strong pupil outcomes
High expectations for behaviour creativity and achievement
Excellent organisational and communication skills
