The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Delivering engaging lessons that integrate practical work with theoretical understanding
Supporting pupils with NEA coursework and portfolio preparation
Maintaining high standards of workshop organisation and safety
Monitoring attainment and implementing strategies to raise achievement
Contributing to departmental planning and quality assurance
Supporting extracurricular and enrichment opportunities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in DT or a related subject
Experience teaching secondary Design & Technology
Strong classroom management and workshop leadership skills
High expectations for pupil engagement and academic success
A professional and collaborative approach
