Job Description

RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
The project manager will work under the supervision of Dr. Justin Sanders on a system-level education initiative called the Interprofessional McGill Program in Advanced Communication Skills. The incumbent will oversee the coordination and management of IMPACS-related activities including the development of educational materials organization of education sessions across multiple institutions and support for the implementation of IMPACS-related initiatives. The incumbent may also contribute to the preparation and submission of research grants related to this work. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with learners educators researchers and institutional partners to enhance communication skills training in healthcare.

General Duties
Coordinate meetings and facilitate collaboration across multiple institutions
Participate in international collaborative meetings on system-level communication intervention
Serve as liaison between Dr. Sanders research team administrative staff and external partners
Organize update and maintain project materials to ensure relevance and accuracy
Plan coordinate and oversee training sessions workshops and other program activities.
Collaborate with educators stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve project objectives.
Monitor and evaluation of educational effectiveness through assessments feedback and performance tracking.
Maintain accurate records reports and documentation of project activities and outcomes.
Provide support and guidance to team members and stakeholders addressing questions and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Required Skills

Excellent French and English spoken and written
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision
Ability to work across multiple communication platforms e-mail Slack etc.
Problem assessment and problem-solving abilities.

Additional information

Status: Temporary full time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience. $54327.00 - $100882.60.
Work Shift: Variable Schedule
Work Site: 5252 Maisonneuve
