What Youll Do:
As an IT Intern at Group 1 Automotive you will gain practical experience working with programming compliance and data analytics functions within a modern and evolving technology environment. This role is designed to give you exposure to real projects and systems while sharpening your technical skill set.
Responsibilities include:
- Support programming tasks and contribute to development work on IT initiatives
- Assist with compliance-related documentation reviews and process validation
- Gather organize and analyze data for ongoing analytics projects
- Collaborate with the Director of IT and cross-functional team members on technology initiatives utilizing modern tech stacks and robotic process automation (RPA) tools to support continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science Information Systems Cybersecurity or a related field
Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Foundational programming or coding skills with familiarity in modern technology stacks and a willingness to continue learning and expanding technical skills
- Strong coachability with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
