Technology Consultant, Paradox

Requirement:  2 years of technical integration experience across multiple systems. Familiarity with Paradox is required familiarity and certification with Workday and other systems is preferred.

The Technology Consultant is responsible for delivering quality consulting and support services to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction as an individual contributor or a team member. The role is focused on designing and building integrations to support projects and external clients. It includes configuration and testing across multiple platforms and systems (Paradox Workday SmartRecruiters and third-party systems).

Service Delivery Expertise

- Provide integration and technology consulting on cloud-based technology solutions including integration build and testing.

- Follow delivery methodologies appropriate to the project and technology solution while promoting industry best practices.

- Deliver high quality technology outcomes and timely completion rates while maintaining high client satisfaction on all engagements.

- Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and personal integrity.

- Engage in positive and pro-active communication with peers and colleagues building effective relationships within and across the business. 

Technology Analyst Expertise

- Configure and maintain technology solutions for clients across multiple technology platforms with a focus on Paradox implementation projects. (Baseline) 

- Design build and implement technology solutions in support of project goals including validation testing and issue resolution.

- Stage demo environments for testing and training purposes.

- Leverage critical thinking to predict downstream impacts in configuration and document lessons learned.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in information technology Business Administration Information Systems Human Resources or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience. 

Technical Skills

• API & Web Services: Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services along with formats like JSON and XML.
• Integration Platforms: Experience with either Workato or Jitterbit.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus with Python being the most used in our environment.
• SDLC & Agile: A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with Agile methodologies.
• Deployment: Web application build and deployment including manual builds and continuous integration.

Skills and Abilities Required

• Analytical & Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze technical requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed for collaborating with teams and documenting integrations.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is necessary to detect and correct faults in complex code and ensure data accuracy.
• Documentation: Strong technical writing skills are required for maintaining comprehensive integration documentation. (sense of urgency - need solution and focus precise efficiency) 
• Client-facing experience supporting established technology integration and implementation methodology strongly preferred.
• A sense of urgency to communicate critical updates in a timely matter
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into understandable presentations for clients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
