Job Summary

We are optimizing the shopping experience for Amazons Customers in the Physical retail space. This role will be a key member of the program team located in Hyderabad supporting Just Walk Out (JWO) tech and business teams. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity with strong attention to detail an ability to work in a fast-paced high-energy and ever-changing environment. The drive and capability to shape the business group strategy is a must.
A successful candidate will:
Have the ability to work independently in a broad array of environments.
Manage cross-functional project teams planning and organizing and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new sites at scale.
Build strong partnerships with operations leaders to understand improvement opportunities.
Have the ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and iterative business space.
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Willingness to challenge and influence senior leaders.
Able to work in a diverse team
Key job responsibilities
This role is the primary customer-facing project manager for third-party Just Walk Out-enabled stores. It requires working with business teams across Amazon to gather requirements and high level process/system solutions; leading cross-functional business and retail store operations teams and managing the timelines for internal and external teams to support store launches. This position involves regular communication with leadership teams on status risks and change control. Cross-team coordination project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role requires up to 10% travel supporting internal business gatherings along with customer-facing meetings and site visits. The shift timing of this role will be 9pm IST to 6am IST.
The ideal candidate is customer focused a natural problem solver and a great communicator both in verbal and written form. You have a consistent track record of successful project delivery under tight deadlines while making high-judgement data-driven trade-offs and prioritization decisions in an ambiguous environment. You have experience working in the built environment and/or with retail store deployments. This role requires a high level of ownership over the store launch process. You are capable of taking accountability but also know how to see around the corners and ask for help in resolving issues and problems as necessary.

- 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
