Position Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our GTO Advisory Services team and take a leadership role in managing IBM FileNet P8 environments. You will work on complex technical initiatives influence system architecture and ensure high availability for business-critical this role youll collaborate with cross-functional teams lead upgrades and migrations and drive automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Your future duties and responsibilities:
Own and lead the administration and optimization of IBM FileNet P8 environments ensuring stability scalability and compliance.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
Coordinate and manage FileNet upgrades patches migrations and disaster recovery testing ensuring timely execution and minimal business impact.
Act as the primary point of contact for FileNet-related initiatives collaborating with cross-functional teams business stakeholders and vendors.
Drive automation strategies by developing and maintaining scripts for operational efficiency (Shell Python or similar).
Oversee operational documentation standard operating procedures and knowledge base updates.
Partner with infrastructure storage and database teams to align on Unix/Linux servers file systems and backup strategies.
Ensure adherence to IT security audit and regulatory standards while promoting continuous improvement in processes.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Minimum 8 years of IT operations or system administration experience with at least 5 years in IBM FileNet support.
Expertise in managing FileNet P8 components: Content Engine Process Engine and Content Navigator.
Strong experience with WebSphere Application Server Unix/Linux platforms and Oracle databases.
Solid understanding of performance tuning high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Hands-on experience with FileNet tools such as FDM BatchIt ICC and Administration Console for Content Engine (ACCE).
Familiarity with integration points and APIs for ingestion and downstream workflows.
Excellent troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical teams business stakeholders and vendors.
Proven experience leading technical teams or projects including mentoring and guiding junior administrators.
Ability to influence decisions and drive best practices across enterprise content management initiatives.
