Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in the workshop and field ensuring timely accurate and high-quality repairs with minimal rework.
- Manage profitability of the service division including labour consumables lubricants sublets and bought-outs (excluding spare parts).
- Position the service department as a key profit generator and a primary reason customers choose the companys products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for technical support training and warranty coordination.
- Develop and mentor technicians from apprentice to lead level ensuring continuous skills growth.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards across all service operations.
- Oversee all service administration and job invoicing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Build strong relationships with customers to establish trust and position the company as their preferred service provider.
- Identify and introduce new service offerings to increase revenue and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor and analyze service KPIs using insights to drive performance improvements and departmental profitability.
