The HR/Office Manager will anchor all people operations and administrative functions within a fast-paced transport and logistics environment supporting a workforce of approximately 20 30 staff. This role underpins organisational efficiency by ensuring compliant HR processes smooth office coordination and robust support to operational teams.

Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end HR processes including recruitment onboarding performance management and exits.
- Maintain accurate employee records contracts driver files licences medicals and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Support driver and operational staff management including shift planning attendance leave and disciplinary processes.
- Coordinate training and upskilling particularly around safety compliance SOPs and customer service standards.
- Drive employee relations and engagement ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
- Prepare HR metrics monthly headcount reports and workforce planning insights for leadership.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations ensuring seamless support to dispatch tracking workshop and warehouse teams.
- Manage service providers fleet-related admin (registrations renewals insurance claims) office supplies and facility upkeep.
- Coordinate internal communication meetings operational briefings and compliance documentation flow.
- Maintain company asset registers uniforms PPE and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Implement administrative systems that enhance turnaround times data accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Monitor adherence to labour laws industry regulations road safety standards and internal policies.
- Support investigations incident reporting and corrective action processes.
- Ensure proper record-keeping for audits inspections and client compliance requirements.
- Manage office and HR budgets procurement requests and cost-control measures.
- Provide timely reporting to management including HR dashboards compliance updates and operational admin metrics.
- Strong organisational capability with the agility to manage high volumes and shifting operational priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage drivers operations staff and leadership effectively.
- High level of discretion and integrity when managing confidential information.
- Detail-oriented proactive and solutions-driven with strong follow-through.
- Ability to navigate a dynamic deadline-driven logistics environment.
