Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize resources
- Manage store finances
- Sell products/services and explore sales opportunities
- Build strong customer relations
- Administer reports/documents
- Supervise service delivery
- Manage and lead Staff
- Conduct weekly staff training sessions
Key Skills:
- Understand how to balance tyres and to operate balancing machines
- Understand how to operate calibrate & test alignment machines
- Alignment of vehicles (technical adjustments plus interpretation)
- Knowledge of Alignment (interpretation of vehicle behaviour)
- Fitting and stripping tyres
- Identifying tyre/rim defects
- Product knowledge i.e. various tyres and rims
- Understanding tyre performance and specifications
- Knowledge of wheel and tyre accessories i.e. lock nut systems nitrogen rim accessories etc.
- Strong admin skills to conduct daily cash up invoicing and oversight of reconciling cash received.
- Good people management skills to manage staff performance i.e. discipline and poor performance.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration
- 3 5 years supervisory experience in the tyre retail industry
