Job Summary
Our client in the retail/hardware industry is seeking a Stock Manager to join their team. The Stock Manager will be responsible for overseeing inventory control local purchasing warehouse operations and fuel management. This role also involves leading the stock drivers dispatch receiving and security teams to maintain accurate stock records ensure smooth logistics and uphold company policies.

Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock levels and records through regular cycle counts and variance resolution.
Oversee goods receiving returns transfers dispatch and stock adjustments. - Identify and take action on slow-moving damaged or obsolete stock.
- Ensure proper warehouse layout bin management and timely stock put-aways.
- Produce month-end inventory reports and ensure system accuracy.
- Monitor fleet condition maintenance licensing and driver performance.
- Review GPS tracking reports and address route or driving irregularities.
- Lead and supervise stock controllers drivers dispatch and receiving teams and security personnel.
- Conduct performance appraisals attendance monitoring and training needs assessments.
- Enforce discipline company procedures safety and uniform standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support audits and report key issues to senior management.

Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field
- At least 3 5 years of experience in stock or warehouse management preferably within the retail or hardware sector
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g. Pastel SAP or similar)
- Proven experience leading diverse operational teams.
