Job Summary
Position : Life Cycle Assessment Analyst
Job location : Thane Maharashtra
Responsibilities :
Complete life cycle assessment (LCA) analysis on Business Unit Electrical Infrastructures products and systems to determine their environmental footprint through the help of specific LCA software (EIME)
Drafting of Environmental Product Declarations according to the ISO 14025 standard
Critical analysis of life cycle assessment studies results to determine in close cooperation with the R&D team concrete strategies to reduce the environmental footprint of a product
Support the process of Environmentally Conscious Design according to IEC 62430 with quantitative data and analysis on the Business Unit product portfolio
Support marketing functions in formulating sustainable product claims with LCA expertise of our products
Translate LCA/footprint results into actionable strategies and opportunities for business/ product line teams
Work closely with the Business Unit Eco-Design Team to ensure the respect of the KPI targets in terms of EPD production and publication
Completing other sustainability-related projects as assigned in support of the overall Business Unit sustainability business plan
Establish working relationships with other company departments/offices (supply chain R&D Operations sales marketing) to get data and information to complete LCA analysis and studies.
