Our client in the agriculture sector is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the efficient running of their workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance repair and servicing of agricultural machinery vehicles and equipment to ensure maximum productivity and minimal downtime. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and the ability to drive high standards of safety quality and performance.

Main Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day workshop operations ensuring all agricultural machinery equipment and vehicles are serviced and maintained.
- Lead supervise and motivate workshop staff providing training and guidance as needed.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues on agricultural equipment.
- Oversee stock management of spare parts consumables and workshop tools.
- Control workshop budgets and costs ensuring efficiency and accountability.
- Maintain compliance with health safety and environmental standards.
- Provide technical advice and support to the operations team.
- Compile and present reports on workshop activities performance and costs.

Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or senior workshop supervisor ideally within the agriculture or related sector.
- Track record in workshop management preventative maintenance planning and budget control.
- Valid drivers licence.
