You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAssistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Technology Transfer Office (Ref.: 533201) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree or above with at least 3 years of relevant experience in project management innovation or technology transfer. Experience in tertiary education institutions or research-intensive environments is preferred and knowledge of company secretarial practices including corporate governance and statutory filings is an advantage. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua) is required along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial/project management systems. The appointee should be proactive detail-oriented and results-driven with a passion for innovation and technology. Strong interpersonal and networking skills are essential to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of intellectual property management commercialization or funding schemes (e.g. RAISe) is an advantage.
The appointee will administer and coordinate funded innovation projects including the RAISe Scheme. Responsibilities include organizing and managing events workshops and training sessions to foster innovation and knowledge exchange as well as facilitating collaborations among faculty industry partners venture funders and government officials. The appointee will monitor project progress ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and reporting requirements and support company secretarial and administrative tasks including record-keeping and ensuring compliance.
