Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Hospitalist
Join a dedicated team at a well-respected facility in Darby Pennsylvania. The Mercy Fitzgerald Campus is seeking Hospitalist locums for ongoing coverage due to a staffing shortage. This practice focuses on inpatient rounding and admitting with a supportive team of fellow healthcare professionals. Candidates will engage with an adult patient population ensuring high-quality care in a dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient rounding and admitting duties.
- Participate in nocturnist shifts as required.
- Supervise other healthcare providers during shifts.
- Manage an average of 1 admission and 18 inpatient cases daily.
- Utilize the Epic documentation system for patient records.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed though no in-house codes are required.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment with other hospitalists.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in relevant specialty (REQUIRED).
- Active Pennsylvania State License (REQUIRED).
- ACLS and BLS certifications (REQUIRED).
- Must be local to the area (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
