Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hospitalist
Summary: Join a dynamic hospital in Hot Springs Arkansas where we are seeking a dedicated hospitalist to provide exceptional care. The facility is equipped with advanced technology and operates within a supportive environment that has a strong focus on patient well-being and staff collaboration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care for hospitalized patients during assigned shifts.
- Manage admissions discharges and daily rounds.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case reviews.
- Handle approximately 20-25 patient admissions per day.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in appropriate specialty.
- Valid Arkansas State Medical License.
- Completion of residency in Internal Medicine (Family Medicine considered with 5 years of hospitalist experience).
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Availability aligned with scheduling needs during name clear.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current Arkansas State Medical License.
- Board Certification in relevant specialty.
- Supporting certifications such as DEA BLS ACLS ATLS NRP PALS.
