Job Opportunity: Locum Pediatric Hospitalist in Redding CA
Join a reputable inpatient facility in Redding California renowned for its dedication to quality pediatric care. This locum position as a Pediatric Hospitalist will allow you to work in a supportive environment providing essential medical services to children in need. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient pediatric care including pediatric resuscitation intubation and lumbar punctures.
- Conduct daily patient rounds and manage admissions.
- Collaborate with ER physicians for evaluations and consultations based on patient conditions.
- Oversee newborn care in the well-baby nursery.
- Participate in resident teaching and precepting duties.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (within the last 3 years).
- Active California medical license.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Availability for the required dates.
- Experience in an inpatient pediatric setting preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- California medical license (active).
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics.
- DEA certification.
