Job Description
Join Our Team as a Pediatric Neurohospitalist in Denver CO!
Pediatrix is seeking motivated well-trained and collaborative Pediatric Neurohospitalists to join our team in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This position offers an excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility within the HealthONE system and HCA Healthcare. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide in-patient child neurology care including high-level ICU management.
- Participate in a 7 on/7 off scheduling model with daily rounds and call from home.
- Conduct continuous EEG monitoring and write reports.
- Offer consultations for pediatric patients in the NICU PICU floor and ER.
- Serve a five-state referral region (CO KS NE NM WY) addressing a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with pediatric specialists neonatologists and other hospital departments to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- BE/BC (Board Eligible/Board Certified) in child neurology - Required
- Experience as a neurohospitalist is preferred
- Continuous EEG monitoring experience is beneficial
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
- Current Colorado medical license (or willing to obtain) - Required
- DEA - must be obtained prior to start
- Visa support is required for J1 or H1B candidates
