Job Opening: Physician - OB Hospitalist in Athens OH
Join a dynamic team as we expand our OBGYN Hospitalist services into the beautiful state of Ohio! This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care to the Athens OH community. Our facility is committed to creating a supportive environment that fosters teamwork and optimal patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality inpatient care through collaboration with hospital staff and community obstetricians.
- Provide OB triage admissions and delivery services for hospitalized patients.
- Manage 24-hour shifts with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
- Respond to Obstetric and Gynecologic emergencies in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with office physicians regarding triage visits new issues and deliveries.
- Engage in multidisciplinary OB Critical Care efforts.
- Oversee the management of OB/GYN emergency department patients.
- Note: Not accepting Locums or visa candidates and experience is required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Current Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain - REQUIRED
- Experience in OB Hospitalist roles is preferred.
License & Certification Requirements:
- Active Ohio Medical License.
- DEA registration must be obtained prior to start.
