Job Description
Locum Physician - Hospitalist
Join a dedicated team at a reputable medical center in Pueblo Colorado seeking a Locum Hospitalist Nocturnist. The facility specializes in inpatient adult medicine and is renowned for its supportive environment and collaborative team of healthcare professionals. You will be working alongside experienced physicians ensuring high-quality patient care in a well-equipped setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide nocturnal hospitalist services from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Manage inpatient care on Med/Surg floors.
- Supervise admissions between 7 to 11 patients per shift.
- Use dictation for charting and work with EMR (EPIC).
- Perform required procedures including inpatient management and EKG interpretation.
- Collaborate with specialty backup as needed.
- Maintain a clear communication channel with support staff and fellow physicians.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active Colorado Medical License or Active IMLC.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Ability to commit to stretches of 6 consecutive night shifts.
- Experience with inpatient care is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:

- BLS and ACLS - REQUIRED
