About the role:
The person in this role will be responsible for the organizations financial goals by acquiring and onboarding new corporate partners nurturing strong relationships and ensuring program funding. This role involves collaborating with corporate partners to enhance their satisfaction with program delivery and employee engagement which in turn promotes retention and loyalty. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales or fundraising strong communication skills and a commitment to non-profit impact.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage corporate fundraising ensuring a healthy mix of multi-year and one-year partnerships aligned with the organizations strategic goals.
- Drive partner retention and engagement including timely reporting employee volunteering and delivering an exceptional partner experience.
- Collaborate with program teams to identify funding gaps and leverage donor relationships and opportunities to secure necessary support.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards while managing accurate and timely reporting for all fundraising activities.
- Foster a high-performance culture by building strong teams rooted in effective people practices streamlined processes and robust systems.
Education Qualification / Experience:
- At least three to five years of sales fundraising or customer service experience.
- Non-profit banking sales or corporate fundraising experience is an advantage.
- Any graduate degree; an MBA in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Proven experience in fundraising from corporate partners is essential (with a track record of securing a minimum of 3-8 crores).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- A reasonable understanding of the non-profit sector fundraising and donor relationship management.
- Tech-savvy with exceptional communication and influencing skills in English.
- Very strong networking and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders including donors staff and volunteers.
- A highly resourceful team player with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
- A forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software like Salesforce and project management tools like Asana.
