Job Description
Specialist Well-being and Injury Management
Location- Molendinar
Make a meaningful impact in a people-first role
Kinetic is looking for a capable organised and compassionate individual to join our People & Safety team as a Specialist Wellbeing and Injury this vital role youll help our employees recover from both physical and psychological injuries and return safely to work.
Youll work closely with injured employees internal leaders medical professionals and external providers to coordinate recovery plans provide guidance and ensure best-practice processes are followed.
This role calls for someone who can lead conversations with confidence influence outcomes and negotiate effectively with multiple parties always keeping the wellbeing of our people at the centre of every decision.
What youll be doing:
- Supporting employees through injury recovery and return-to-work
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external providers (e.g. doctors physios rehab specialists)
- Leading investigations with empathy and professionalism
- Maintaining accurate timely documentation across all matters
- Promoting early intervention and a positive safety culture
- Applying sound judgement cost awareness and procedural rigour
- Occasionally travel across Gold Coast and Tweed regions
- Navigating complex discussions with care confidence and clarity
What youll bring:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Allied Health Workers Compensation or a related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in injury management or a similar role
- Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation claims processes and entitlements
- Experience dealing with both physical and psychological injuries
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead conversations negotiate outcomes and build trust
- Confident in influencing stakeholders and managing sensitive matters with care and authority
- Investigative mindset and detail-oriented approach
- Confident using MS Office; experience with Solv or similar systems is a bonus
- Current drivers licence and access to a vehicle
