Job Description

Goel Power Engineers LLP is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development & Consultant Handling professional. This role will be crucial in expanding our client base nurturing existing relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of consulting services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen excellent communication skills and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.

Job Title: Business Development & Consultant Handling

Reports to: Head - Business Development

Location: Head office Mumbai

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Identify and research potential clients within target markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Generate leads through networking cold calling consultants & clients visit and other channels
  • Conduct productCapability & company presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Consultant Handling:
  • Act as a liaison between clients and consultants.
  • Understand client needs and match them with appropriate consultant expertise.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on project status.
  • Gather client feedback and ensure satisfaction with consulting services.
  • Manage consultant utilization and optimize resource allocation.
  • General:
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve company objectives.
  • Participate in marketing and networking events.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of new business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering or Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in business development and/or client management preferably in the Capital equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software e.g. Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of consulting methodologies and best practices is a plus.
