The Sales Account Manager is responsible for identifying developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate travel and group accounts to maximize revenue generation for ibis Styles Nairobi. The role requires a proactive and strategic individual with a deep understanding of hospitality sales excellent customer service and strong negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through active prospecting sales calls networking and client visits.
- Manage and grow existing accounts to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts that align with client needs and hotel offerings.
- Conduct regular account reviews to monitor client satisfaction and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Achieve outside weekly sales calls and appointments as directed by the management.
- Develop own lead sources via referrals networking and prospecting.
- Respond to and tract all incoming sales leads in a timely manner via C-Vent and the Sales Navigator
- Responsible for achieving monthly corporates and travel agent revenue goals.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Degree in Sales Marketing Hospitality or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality industry; hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Nairobis corporate and travel trade market is an added advantage.
- Command of English both written and oral
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software: Word and Excel
