Who are we looking for
Etifor is seeking an Account & Business Development Manager - Nature Positive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving systemic change for nature and climate and has a proven ability in working with large corporations and multinational companies relating to climate and nature related topics.
Role and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall growth of the company by developing new business opportunities and markets and by managing key accounts in two key focus areas: Nature-positive strategies with our LUCAS approach and Net Zero Climate Strategies using our MARC approach (more info on our website).
This includes:
The ideal candidate must have prior and proven experience in proposing and selling climate and nature-related services; and must have an in-depth knowledge of key topics frameworks and standards such as: TCFD; TNDF; SBTi; SBTN; CSRD; FSC; VERRA; .etc..
The ideal candidate will also support the Sales and Business Development Team in prospecting for new clients and in proposing and selling other potential services that may be strategic for the company.
Education
The ideal candidate has a Masters degree in a relevant environmental or sustainability field (e.g. environmental science ecology environmental economics environmental engineering sustainability management).
It will also be considered candidates with different educational backgrounds as long as they are consistent with the role.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience required (preferably 5 years) in Key Account Management/Sales and Business Development related to environmental consulting services.
Experience in coordinating with other team members and other colleagues across the company programs is essential.
Familiarity with other environmental standards regulations and legislation or/and with nature-based solutions is considered a plus.
