Position: Skills Development Facilitator

A leading engineering company based in Springs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) to support a project-based initiative focused on technical training and apprenticeship programmes. This role is pivotal in aligning workforce development with organisational objectives and legislative compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop implement and manage apprenticeship and skills development programmes in line with industry standards and SETA requirements.
- Engage with SETAs QCTO and other regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and optimal funding opportunities.
- Compile and submit Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs) and Annual Training Reports (ATRs).
- Facilitate the development and implementation of learnerships and artisan training programmes.
- Coordinate and track employee training mentoring and upskilling initiatives.
- Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with line managers and HR.
- Maintain updated records of training interventions learner progression and programme outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Human Resource Development Education or related field.
- Proven experience in establishing and managing apprenticeship programmes ideally within the engineering or technical sector.
- Sound understanding of skills development legislation (Skills Development Act B-BBEE SETA processes).
- Strong administrative and reporting skills with attention to accuracy and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
