Job Title: Patent Prosecution Associate Electrical / Computer Technologies
Location: Washington DC (Hybrid)

Job Description:
A leading intellectual property law firm in Washington DC is seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Associate to join its patent practice group focused on electrical and computer technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of intellectual property matters including patent preparation and prosecution post-grant proceedings opinions and counseling and IP litigation support.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications in the electrical engineering computer engineering and computer science fields.

Conduct patentability validity and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Provide technical and legal insights for post-grant proceedings and litigation support.

Collaborate with team members and clients to develop and execute IP strategies.
Qualifications:
-
Undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

2 4 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.

Admission to the USPTO is required.

Strong academic background and excellent writing and analytical skills.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
