Life Sciences Patent Associate (Junior to Mid-Level) Prestigious Law Firm Boston MA
Our client one of the most prestigious law firms in the world is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its highly regarded Life Sciences Patent Practice in Boston.
About the Role:
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with innovative clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. The associate will support a wide range of intellectual property matters including:
- Managing and developing global patent portfolios
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
- Performing freedom-to-operate patentability and invalidity analyses
- Assisting with IP due diligence for corporate transactions
- Supporting post-grant proceedings IP counseling and litigation
Qualifications:
- Background in Biology Chemistry or a related life sciences field; Ph.D. strongly preferred
- 1 4 years of relevant experience at a top law firm or boutique IP firm
- Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proactive team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding academic credentials from a respected law school
