Job Description
Cleeks Inc. is a family owned businesssince 1956that believes in strong ethics family values and giving back to the communities we serve. We have 5 stores located in MidMissouri and are looking for career minded individuals who want to succeed and join our winning team!
The Sales Manager has to be a people person who can multitask and sell like crazy! Building up relationships with our customers and providing excellent customer service is vital to a stores growth. The Sales Manager will be involved with telephone and floor sales direct marketing store merchandising and managing service for our customers. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize and plan the marketing efforts in the storeand throughout the community
- Sell at a high level in order to achieve monthly sales goalsand growth objectives
- Maintain the image of the showroom floor counter areabackroom and restrooms
- Ensure all merchandise is priced correctly and properly displayed
- Directly manage the CSRs and DTs and follow up that all order forms have been processed references and customer informationis properly inputted into the computer system
- Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner andprovide excellent customer service
- Manage web leads and Facebook account for the store
- Take proper payments from customers and updateinformation in the computer
- Other tasks as assigned by management; including but not limited to filling in for other positions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Neat professional appearance
- Well organized ability to multitask good computer skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Patience and empathy
- Effective communication customer service and problem solving skills
- Class E License within 30 days of hire
- Must be at least 18 years old good driving record able to pass a background check and drug test excluded)
- High School diploma or equivalency preferred but not required
- Able to lift load and dolly merchandise
