Support Digital Marketing Campaigns
Assist in planning executing and monitoring social media campaigns especially those that empower students and the community to use campaigns like #SAVEOURMASCOTS to increase awareness.
Draft and schedule email newsletters for donor and partner outreach.
Sales and Fundraising Initiatives
Identify potential fundraising partners such as schools sports teams and businesses.
Support the team in organizing and promoting fundraising events including the innovative Round-Up program direct donation drives and school campus activations.
Content Creation
Produce engaging content for social media web and partner communications to foster community engagement and support the mission.
Market Research
Conduct research into schools organizations and businesses that have animal mascots creating outreach lists for future sales and fundraising efforts.
Ambassador Program Support
Recruit and support new Social Media Ambassadors to champion wildlife and conservation campaigns on their campuses.
Reporting & Analytics
Assist with tracking key metrics for digital and offline campaigns preparing weekly summaries for supervisor review.
Current student or recent graduate in Marketing Communications Business Environmental Studies or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram X/Twitter Facebook TikTok LinkedIn).
Comfortable with digital marketing tools (e.g. Canva Mailchimp Hootsuite) is a plus.
Passion for wildlife conservation and social impact.
Creative thinker and proactive problem-solver.
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced mission-driven team.
Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing sales and nonprofit fundraising within a national conservation organization.
Network with marketing conservation and nonprofit professionals.
Help shape innovative campaigns that make a tangible difference for endangered wildlife.
Certificate of completion and reference letter upon successful internship.
