Product Manager 4

MW Partners is currently seeking a Product Manager to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.

The Product Manager will own specific work streams as a part of a broader problemsolving process identify the most relevant information (from across the functional & Product teams) required to test specific hypotheses and synthesize the relevant information to build actionable recommendations to the business. The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Analyze business needs and provide creative solutions towards problem resolution.
• Identify the most relevant sources of data/information needed to address the key issues on a project.
• Help develop compelling stories that convey the relevant synthesized solutions and insights in a compelling manner to various internal stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements to functional specifications and coordinate with development team for building product capabilities
• Call out key gaps in the current knowledge base and develop a plan to gather the most important information
• Synthesize information across a wide variety of insight sources including: Cloud System Product Systems SAP ECC Sales Force and MSDynamics analytical systems (HANA Databricks)

Responsibilities and duties:

• Be the subject matter expert regarding in financial applications and analytics
• Able to Define Product Road Map to address future business needs
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities for the business growth through the use of various tools and techniques
• Use data customer and competitive insights and industry wide best practices to identify Finance platform capabilities and user experiences that will deliver value to internal business customers
• Work with crossfunctional teams to guide Finance products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds.
• Collaborate with finance business unit stakeholders team members and outside influencers to ensure a solid and wellrounded understanding of products and developing needs are met.
• Partner with teams at various levels of the organization and from different parts of business to help define and drive a multiyear business capabilities roadmap & strategic vision for the broader Finance initiatives
• Create business cases outlining projected impact for each initiative to be prioritized on the roadmap
• Write detailed product requirements and end to end use cases to be used by engineering & design teams
• Effectively present information to technical or nontechnical audiences ranging from team level meetings through to Executive briefs and updates
• Demonstrate functionality of completed products to internal team members and other stakeholders
• Develop metrics to assess the success of products and features and determine necessary enhancements

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent;
• MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
• 7 years of proven work experience in product management corporate finance solutions managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle development and support
• Ability to craft clear compelling recommendations supported by strong analysis and business logic and articulate them to the organization to gain support for recommendations
• Ability to articulate in documenting end to end product requirements writing functional specs and user stories including story acceptance criteria for the engineering team
• Solid business background with understanding and/or handson experience in financial applications such as ERP tax and analytical solutions. This includes managing system requirements evaluating products and solutions design integration implementation and maintenance of corporate revenue applications.
• Experience in multiple software product launches through their lifecycle and adept at driving communication planning measurement and decision processes within the team and in partnership with key stakeholder organizations.
• Experience working with Application Product Engineering Cloudbased teams and Analytical teams that employ scrum and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously in time sensitive situations of extreme ambiguity with only highlevel direction
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to work with technical and nontechnical audiences as well as communicating as effectively to individual contributors as you do with executives
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships build credibility and trust with team members and Senior Leadership leveraging a dynamic leadership presence
