Program Manager

Aledium Group a sister company of AlediumHR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager for our client based outside of Asheville NC. This person will be in charge of contract executions laserfocused on cost schedule and performance objectives that align with their strategic goals.

As a Program Manager you will be entrusted with leading a crossfunctional team. You will wield the authority and responsibility to assign tasks to individuals outside of your direct supervisory chain with full management support. Expected travel for this role is less than 5%.

Required Skills:

• A Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and leading programs and products with a demonstrated track record in Program Management
• Proven ability to work independently and lead a team across functional areas to achieve success
• Exceptional leadership time management facilitation and organizational skills
• Strong understanding and implementation of Risk Management principles

Desired Skills:

• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or a clear path to obtaining a PMP shortly after hire
• Strong strategic thinking skills with an emphasis on implementation delegation and followup
• Technical knowledge of Defenserelated products particularly in Radar Avionics and Sensors
• Experience with Export Control ITAR and FAR/DFAR regulations

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project customers crossfunctional teams management and assigned personnel to plan and develop project scope deliverables required resources work plans budgets and schedules
• Manage program and project teams to maximize return on investment coordinating and delegating crossproject initiatives
• Identify key requirements from crossfunctional teams and external vendors
• Develop and manage project budgets ensuring accountability for delivering against established business goals and objectives.
