Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Technician to support hospital dietary and nutrition services in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include assisting with patient meal coordination dietary operations food safety compliance documentation and nutrition support within a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support hospital dietary and nutrition operations
- Coordinate patient meal plans and dietary modifications
- Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and infection control standards
- Maintain accurate dietary records and data entry
- Utilize Microsoft Office and electronic feeding management systems
- Collaborate with clinical and dietary teams to support patient care
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and Associates Degree required
- Food Safety Certification required
- 2 years of hospital nutrition/food service experience preferred
- Strong communication teamwork math and organizational skills
- Experience with hospital dietary systems preferred
