Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Food Safety Technician to support hospital dietary and nutrition services in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include assisting with patient meal coordination dietary operations food safety compliance documentation and nutrition support within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support hospital dietary and nutrition operations
  • Coordinate patient meal plans and dietary modifications
  • Ensure compliance with food safety sanitation and infection control standards
  • Maintain accurate dietary records and data entry
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and electronic feeding management systems
  • Collaborate with clinical and dietary teams to support patient care

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and Associates Degree required
  • Food Safety Certification required
  • 2 years of hospital nutrition/food service experience preferred
  • Strong communication teamwork math and organizational skills
  • Experience with hospital dietary systems preferred
