Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial reporting outputs across multiple business areas
- Ensure accuracy consistency and completeness of financial information
- Support structured reporting cycles including monthly quarterly and annual deliverables
- Review inputs from various teams and resolve reporting queries
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform analysis of financial results and provide clear explanations where required
- Support audit processes and provide required documentation and explanations
- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on reporting requirements
- Maintain and improve reporting processes controls and tools
- Ensure adherence to internal reporting standards and timelines
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) Required
- Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- 2 - 4 years post-articles experience in financial reporting accounting or a related finance environment
- Exposure to multi-entity or complex organisational structures
- Experience working within structured reporting cycles and tight deadlines
- Experience engaging with auditors or external stakeholders (advantageous)
- Exposure to reporting systems or financial tools (advantageous)
- Financial acumen and strong technical accounting understanding
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage complexity and multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management
- Accountability and ownership of deliverables
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Process improvement and continuous improvement mindset
