Business Analyst

A dynamic financial technology and payments company is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong analytical capability and a solid understanding of payment systems. The successful candidate will translate business requirements into clear functional documentation support project delivery and ensure alignment between business and technical teams in a fast-paced innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and documentation
• Document processes procedures and workflows
• Support project delivery and backlog grooming within the PMO
• Manage requirement changes and maintain BA documentation
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure deliverables meet requirements
• Continuously improve analysis tools processes and documentation standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• 35 years Business Analyst experience
• Strong understanding of the payments industry (retail digital banking card schemes EFT settlement acquiring)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Jira Confluence Visio and
• Strong analytical documentation and problem-solving skills
• Experience in requirements gathering process mapping and functional specification writing
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Valid drivers licence and own transport
• Fluent in business English (additional languages advantageous)
