Job Summary

Department / Hospital / Cluster Quality & Safety Queen Mary Hospital Hong Kong Island Cluster

Pay HK$37590 to HK$60488 (HGPS Pt 15 25) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff at the end of each 3 years during the 9-year contract period subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities
1.	Undertake general nursing and supervisory duties.
2.	Carry out infection control duties including:
	- Manage incidents of hospital and cluster including conducting root cause analysis and implementing improvement measures.
	- Prepare papers and reports to senior management boards and committees.
	- Conduct regular audit and review of quality and performance indicators and adverse incidents.
	- Provide administrative and secretariat support to the department and committees including meeting coordination minutes taking compilation of reports.
	- Plan coordinate and implement risk reduction and quality improvement programs in the hospital and cluster.
	- Supervise clerical staff of the department.
	- Perform other duties as assigned.

Entry Requirements
1.	A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
2.	Fluent Cantonese.

Preferable Attributes/Exposure
1.	Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
2.	Preferably with experience in quality improvement activities.
3.	5 years or post-registration experience as Registered Nurse (General) in health care service.
4.	Self-motivated and able to work independently.
5.	Be able to work under pressure and multi-tasking.
6.	Basic knowledge in PC skills e.g. Word Excel Power Point.
