Job Summary
Department / Cluster Central Nursing Department Tung Wah Hospital Hong Kong Island Cluster | |
Pay HK$37590 to HK$60488 (HGPS Pt 15 25) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff at the end of each 3 years during the 9-year contract period subject to satisfactory performance. | |
Key Responsibilities | |
Undertake general nursing and supervisory duties. | |
1. | Undertake general nursing and supervisory duties. |
2. | Carry out infection control duties including: |
- Perform daily hospital infection control surveillance and generate report. | |
- Perform infection control audit work according to infection control guidelines and protocols. | |
- Perform and organize infection control training or workshop for hospital staff. | |
- Monitor hospital infection control practice. | |
- Assist in implementing infection control initiatives. | |
- Participate in investigation and control of infection or outbreak in hospital. | |
- Provide education advice and counselling to patient caregivers and staff on infection control related issue. | |
- Perform on-call duties if necessary. | |
Requirements | |
1. | A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong. |
2. | Fluent Cantonese. |
