Job Summary
Our client is looking for a young practical minded and mechanically inclined individual to join their team as a Junior Plant Manager (Mining)

Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation and monitoring of the gold processing plant
- Support maintenance and basic repairs of plant machinery and equipment
- Monitor plant performance and report any faults or breakdowns
- Ensure smooth running of CIP plant processes where applicable
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues
- Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Work closely with the production and technical teams to improve plant efficiency
Key skills:
- Willingness to work hands on in a plant environment
- Good problem solving skills and ability to learn quickly
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Practical minded with strong mechanical aptitude
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifciation
- Previous exposure to the gold mining industry preferred
- CIP plant experience is an added advantage
