Job Summary
To manage and optimize all Carbon in Pulp (CIP) plant operations ensuring maximum gold recovery operational efficiency safety environmental compliance and cost-effective production. The CIP Manager is responsible for leading the processing team maintaining plant performance and ensuring adherence to metallurgical best practices and company standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Carbon in Pulp (CIP) processing plant.
- Ensure safe efficient and continuous plant operation to achieve production targets.
- Monitor and optimize gold recovery carbon activity adsorption efficiency and elution performance.
- Coordinate crushing milling leaching adsorption elution electrowinning smelting and tailings disposal activities.
- Develop and implement operating procedures and standard operating practices.
- Investigate production losses and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with laboratory personnel to analyse plant performance and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate preventative and planned maintenance.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs.
Key Skills:
- At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or management role within a Carbon in Pulp (CIP) plant.
- Proven experience in managing operations and process optimization.
- Experience in budgeting production planning and people management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy Mineral Processing Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
