Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Planning & Execution
Lead the development of vision mission and 35 year strategic goals for the packaging business in alignment with Group direction.
Conduct market analysis on industry trends sustainable materials customer behavior and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities locally and globally.
Develop investment technology and product roadmaps; design KPI/BSC/OKR systems and present to the Board.
Oversee execution and adapt strategies based on market dynamics supply chain risks and regulatory changes.
2. P&L and Financial Management
Take full ownership of revenue cash flow and ROIC performance.
Control and optimize CAPEX and OPEX ensuring cost efficiency and margin protection.
Lead evaluation and execution of M&A joint ventures factory expansion and technology transformation projects.
Establish transparent financial reporting systems and proactively manage financial FX and credit risks.
3. Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management
Oversee 24/7 operations across manufacturing plants.
Drive implementation of Lean TPM Six Sigma automation and digital transformation to optimize productivity quality and cost.
Develop strategic sourcing networks for virgin resin recycled materials and bio-based materials.
Ensure compliance with quality systems such as ISO 9001 BRCGS HACCP GMP.
4. Market & Customer Development
Build multi-channel sales strategies (GT MT B2B e-commerce OEM/ODM export).
Expand market presence across APAC EU and US.
Develop and strengthen brand positioning with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
Manage pricing commercial policies contracts and customer satisfaction.
5. Technology Innovation & R&D
Lead R&D portfolio in bio-based packaging smart packaging and circular economy solutions.
Collaborate with global R&D networks research institutes and tech startups.
Ensure effective product commercialization and fast time-to-market.
6. Risk Management Compliance & Sustainability
Establish enterprise risk management (ERM) systems and ensure compliance with regulations and international standards (EPR REACH FDA ISO 14001/45001).
Integrate ESG into business strategy and achieve sustainability certifications.
Maintain high standards in occupational safety and environmental protection.
7. Organization Development & Culture
Build a lean and scalable organizational structure.
Foster a high-performance integrity-driven and innovation-oriented culture.
Develop talent pipeline and succession planning for key roles.
Drive employee engagement and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Chemical Engineering Materials Science Mechanical Engineering Business Administration or related fields; MBA/EMBA or certifications (Lean Six Sigma CFA CPA ESG) preferred
Experience: Minimum 15 years in plastic/packaging manufacturing including at least 8 years in executive leadership roles (CEO/COO/EVP or equivalent); proven track record in plant expansion M&A or large-scale investment projects
Skills: Strong strategic thinking financial acumen and risk management capability; excellent leadership negotiation stakeholder management and crisis management skills; fluent in English (additional languages such as Chinese or Japanese are a plus)
Personal qualities: Integrity accountability results-oriented mindset high adaptability customer-centric thinking and willingness to travel internationally
