About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide overall leadership strategic direction and operational oversight of the business ensuring strong financial performance high-quality project delivery and a high-performing team culture.
Reporting directly to the Director some of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading mentoring and developing management and supervisory teams
- Building and maintaining key client contractor and supplier relationships
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and ISO management systems
- Managing financial performance including budgets forecasting and profitability
- Monitoring performance across safety quality financial and operational metrics
- Driving business development tendering strategies and new market opportunities
- Developing and executing the companys strategic plan aligned with growth objectives
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across construction maintenance and project delivery
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (General Manager or similar)
- Strong background in commercial landscaping construction or related industries
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen
- Experience managing large teams and multiple projects
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capability
- A results-driven and strategic mindset with high accountability
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
