Business Operations Lead

At Viva Energy Australia were transforming how Technology & Digital delivers value to the business. Were looking for a T&D Business Operations Lead to play a critical role in enabling the successful execution of our strategy through strong governance insights and leadership support. As the T&D Business Operations Lead you will drive disciplined planning executive-level reporting workforce insights and risk visibility across our Technology & Digital portfolio.

This is a high-impact role where youll work closely with senior leaders bringing clarity to complex portfolios and ensuring our initiatives are aligned visible and set up for success.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Leadership & Influence

• Ability to work confidently with senior leaders and leadership teams.
• Influences through insight preparation and quality outputs rather than authority.

Technical & Tooling Proficiency

• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint capability including executive storytelling synthesis and visual clarity.
• Strong written communication and briefing skills.
• Working knowledge of planning and reporting tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Excel Power BI or equivalents).

Strategic & Commercial Acumen

• Ability to understand strategic priorities and translate them into operational insights.
• Awareness of financial workforce and capacity drivers impacting delivery decisions.

Personal Attributes

• Highly organised detailoriented and dependable.
• Calm under pressure with strong followthrough.
• Pragmatic outcomefocused and discreet.

Qualifications :

• Tertiary qualification in Business Administration Commerce Management Economics Strategy or a related discipline.
• 58 years experience in business operations planning PMO reporting or similar roles.
• Demonstrated experience producing highquality executivelevel reporting.
• Experience supporting senior leaders in complex multidisciplinary environments.
• Exposure to workforce planning capacity management or portfolio environments
