We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Growth & Strategy Manager to drive the next phase of growth for MCS.
Reporting directly to the CEO this role will lead strategic growth initiatives across recruitment workforce development social procurement employment services and NDIS programs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys identifying opportunities building partnerships developing new services and creating meaningful social impact while contributing to the growth of a high-potential social enterprise.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on business development capability to expand MCSs market presence increase revenue streams and strengthen community outcomes.
- Develop and implement organisational growth strategies
- Identify new revenue streams and commercial opportunities
- Research emerging market trends and workforce needs
- Develop business cases for new services and initiatives
- Build and manage a sustainable pipeline of opportunities
- Lead growth initiatives across employment recruitment and community sectors
- Build relationships with employers across multiple industries
- Secure recruitment workforce development and labour hire opportunities
- Develop pathways into sustainable employment
- Expand employer engagement programs
- Increase employment outcomes and job placements
- Develop partnerships with NDIS providers and community organisations
- Increase participant referrals and service utilisation
- Identify opportunities to expand NDIS and disability employment services
- Support development of innovative participant-focused programs
- Establish strategic partnerships with:
- Employers and industry groups
- Government agencies
- Local councils
- Community organisations
- Disability service providers
- Educational institutions
- Corporate partners
- Employers and industry groups
- Represent MCS at networking events forums and industry meetings
- Strengthen the organisations profile and reputation
- Identify and pursue tender opportunities
- Prepare grant applications and funding submissions
- Develop partnership proposals and commercial agreements
- Contribute to achievement of organisational revenue targets
Within your first 12 months you will:

- Secure new contracts partnerships and funding opportunities

- Increase NDIS participant referrals and service engagement

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Business Commerce Marketing Human Services Community Development or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in business development growth strategy partnerships or commercial management
- Experience working within employment services recruitment workforce development disability services or community services
- Demonstrated experience building strategic partnerships
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Experience securing contracts partnerships or funding opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within a social enterprise or not-for-profit organisation
- NDIS sector knowledge and experience
- Recruitment and labour hire experience
- Social procurement experience
- Tender and grant writing experience
