Job Summary

In partnership with our client we are seeking an E-commerce Operations Executive to be the engine behind a seamless online shopping experience at one of Nigerias leading garment manufacturing companies. Every order that gets placed every item that leaves the warehouse and every customer who receives exactly what they paid for on time that is your work made this role you will own the day-to-day operational running of the online store keeping inventory accurate orders flowing systems aligned and customer issues resolved before they escalate. Who are we looking for
  • You are an e-commerce or retail operations professional with at least 3 years of experience managing the operational side of an online store or retail business.
  • You are highly detail-oriented and understand that accuracy in inventory orders and payments is not optional. It is the foundation everything else is built on.
  • You are a confident problem solver who does not wait for issues to escalate before acting.
  • You spot gaps early and close them fast.
  • You are comfortable working with ERP systems preferably Odoo and understand how they connect to warehouse and inventory workflows.
  • You are calm under pressure especially during peak seasons and high-traffic campaigns when the stakes are highest.
  • You are a strong cross-functional collaborator who can align Warehouse Finance and Commercial teams around shared operational goals without losing momentum.
  • You are data-driven and comfortable building and maintaining dashboards trackers and performance reports that support clear decision-making.
  • You are process-minded and always looking for smarter more scalable ways to get things done.
Your Responsibilities
Operational Excellence and amp; Order Management
  • You will oversee the end-to-end order lifecycle from payment confirmation all the way through to final delivery ensuring every step is tracked and executed accurately.
  • You will identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks that impact fulfillment speed and accuracy.
  • You will establish SLAs across internal stakeholders and monitor adherence consistently.
Inventory Governance and amp; Systems Integrity
  • You will ensure real-time inventory accuracy across the website ERP system and warehouse at all times.
  • You will drive periodic stock reconciliation and conduct root-cause analysis whenever discrepancies arise.
  • You will collaborate with the Commercial and Warehouse teams to improve stock visibility and sell-through efficiency.
Revenue Protection and amp; Payment Controls
  • You will oversee payment reconciliation and support daily sell-off reporting to protect online revenue streams.
  • You will detect and resolve payment failures system gaps and leakage risks before they impact the business.
  • You will strengthen internal controls to safeguard the integrity of all online transactions.
Customer Experience Enablement
  • You will partner with the Customer Experience team to resolve backend order escalations quickly and effectively.
  • You will proactively monitor operations to reduce customer complaints that are driven by operational failures.
  • You will work to improve checkout flow reliability and the overall digital buying experience for customers.
Cross-Functional Leadership and amp; Reporting
  • You will work closely with Warehouse Finance and Commercial teams to align processes and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • You will develop clear operational dashboards and weekly performance reports that give leadership full visibility into what is happening and why.
  • You will provide insights that support data-driven decision-making and growth planning across the business.
Process Optimisation and amp; Scalability
  • You will standardise SOPs for peak periods and campaign activations ensuring the team is always prepared and processes are never improvised.
  • You will recommend automation and system enhancements that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • You will continuously review workflows to support business scale and expansion as the brand grows.
What Success looks like
  • Orders are fulfilled accurately and on time consistently meeting or exceeding defined SLA targets.
  • Inventory remains accurate and consistent across all systems website ERP and warehouse with variances resolved within 24 hours.
  • Zero customer complaints are caused by operational failures or system errors.
  • Issue resolution during high-traffic periods is faster and more structured with each campaign cycle.
  • Clean reliable operational data is available for internal reporting on a weekly basis without gaps or inconsistencies.
  • SOPs are documented and followed across all relevant teams reducing dependence on individual knowledge.
To be considered for this role you should have
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce or retail operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of order flow inventory management and payment reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems with Odoo being a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and operational trackers for reporting and performance monitoring.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure particularly during peak seasons and campaign periods.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • A Bachelors degree in Business Operations Management or a related field is an advantage.
