Job Summary

In partnership with our client we are seeking an Operations Lead to be the backbone of a fast-growing consumer brands supply chain and inventory function. You will not just be managing processes you will be building them owning them and holding the entire organisation accountable to this role you will sit at the intersection of systems stock and people ensuring that every unit of inventory is accounted for every order is fulfilled on time and every team operates with discipline and precision. Who are we looking for
  • You are an operations professional with 2 to 4 years of experience in inventory management supply chain or a related field ideally within FMCG skincare or retail operations.
  • You are a systems thinker who believes that every process should be documented every stock movement should be recorded and every gap should have a solution.
  • You are highly analytical with a sharp eye for discrepancies and a natural instinct to investigate until the root cause is found. You are disciplined and detail-oriented.
  • You hold yourself and others to high standards of accuracy and accountability.
  • You are a confident communicator who can align cross-functional teams including Commercial Finance and Customer Support around shared operational goals.
  • You are experienced with ERP systems preferably Odoo and understand how to drive system-first behaviour across teams.
  • You are a proactive problem solver who does not wait for things to go wrong before putting controls in place.
  • You are a people leader who can develop junior team members and build a culture of operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy and amp; Control
  • You will own end-to-end inventory accuracy across Odoo WMS 3PL and physical stock at all times.
  • You will establish and enforce daily weekly and monthly reconciliation processes to maintain stock integrity.
  • You will investigate discrepancies with clear root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • You will maintain inventory variance within defined thresholds of 1 to 2 percent.
  • You will lead cycle counts and full stock takes ensuring all stock movements are system-recorded with zero off-system movement tolerated.
Process Design and amp; Operational Discipline
  • You will design and implement SOPs for all inventory and fulfillment processes enforcing adherence across Supply Chain Commercial and Finance teams.
  • You will build structured workflows for order fulfillment stock transfers returns and damages and 3PL handovers.
  • You will continuously identify operational gaps and implement scalable system-driven solutions to close them.
ERP Ownership and amp; System Integrity
  • You will own Odoo usage for all inventory and order flows ensuring correct configuration and disciplined usage across every team.
  • You will drive a system-first approach across the organisation actively working to eliminate manual workarounds.
  • You will partner with Finance and the Supply Chain Head to improve ERP workflows and train teams on proper system usage.
3PL and amp; Fulfillment Performance
  • You will own the 3PL relationship and manage performance against key SLAs including order processing time dispatch timelines fulfillment accuracy and returns handling.
  • You will ensure complete visibility of all stock and movements eliminating black box operations through structured reporting and clear accountability.
Cross-Functional Alignment
  • You will serve as the single point of accountability for inventory across all teams aligning Commercial Finance and Customer Support around operational priorities.
  • You will lead monthly reconciliation reviews with Finance and ensure all teams are operating from accurate up-to-date inventory data.
Team Leadership and amp; Capability Building
  • You will manage and develop the Ops Assistant building their capability and holding them accountable to high operational standards.
  • You will train teams across the organisation on SOPs and system usage fostering a culture of accuracy discipline and ownership.
Reporting Audits and amp; Continuous Improvement
  • You will own reporting on inventory variance fulfillment SLAs and overall operational performance.
  • You will conduct regular audits across the warehouse systems and processes to identify risks and implement preventive controls before they become problems.
What Success looks like
  • Inventory variance is maintained consistently below 2 percent across all stock locations and systems.
  • On-time fulfillment rate meets or exceeds defined SLA targets month on month.
  • Zero off-system stock movements recorded. All stock activity is captured in Odoo in real time.
  • 3PL performance is tracked and managed with clear SLA reporting and accountability in place.
  • Monthly reconciliation reviews with Finance are completed on time with no unresolved discrepancies older than 48 hours.
  • SOPs are documented enforced and understood across all relevant teams within the first 90 days.
  • The Ops Assistant is developed and operating with increasing independence and capability over time.
To be considered for this role you should have
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in operations supply chain or inventory management within a structured business environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of inventory management warehousing and 3PL operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems with Odoo being a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and how they integrate with broader inventory workflows.
  • Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to design and implement SOPs and enforce process discipline across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing external partners and holding them accountable to performance SLAs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in FMCG skincare or retail operations is a strong advantage.
  • A Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
