Job summary
The Growth Marketing Lead will be responsible for designing executing and optimising our clients growth strategy. This role requires a data-driven operator who can identify growth opportunities run structured experiments and develop scalable acquisition and retention systems. You will work closely with leadership product and operations teams to ensure our client delivers strong user growth while maintaining excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute the overall growth strategy for the company
- Identify and prioritise high-impact growth opportunities.
- Define target user segments and growth channels.
- Improve the marketing foundation of the client
- Build a structured growth experimentation framework.
User Acquisition:
- Design and implement strategies to acquire new users.
- Identify and scale high-performing acquisition channels.
- Track acquisition costs and optimise performance.
User Activation:
- Improve onboarding experience to ensure users complete their first transaction quickly.
- Identify friction points in the signup-to-first-transaction funnel.
- Design campaigns and onboarding flows that increase activation rates.
Retention & Engagement:
- Build systems that encourage repeat usage and long-term engagement.
- Develop initiatives that keep users active on the platform.
- Monitor behavioural metrics such as transaction frequency and user engagement.
Growth Analytics & Performance Tracking:
- Track and analyse key growth metrics including: user acquisition activation rates retention and campaign performance
- Provide regular growth performance reports and insights.
- Use data to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in growth marketing digital marketing or product marketing
- Proven ability to drive user growth for digital products
- Strong understanding of growth funnels and conversion optimisation
- Experience running growth experiments and marketing campaigns
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and metrics
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Fully Remote
Remuneration: NGN 250000 - 300000

Minimum academic qualification of a good first degree in any discipline A minimum of 5 years experience in e-collections unit or related e-business functions in banks or FIs Sound Knowledge of Business Development Excellent Collections products knowledge Sound Customer Service Knowledge Good Relationship Management Knowledge Sound Business Environment Good Industry analysis Good Financial analysis Interpersonal skills Communication (oral & written) Computer appreciation / data entry (word-processing/spreadsheet/presentation) Adequate technical ability.
