Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Sourcing

This is a strategic role within the Procurement Function reporting into the global Category Management Lead with overall accountability in the following areas:
Bring in the required expertise across Infrastructure & Logistics (I&L) categories such as Leases Infrastructure Services. Facility Management Engineering Site Setup Transport etc.
To deliver significant Value to Genpact through the strategic sourcing engagements and supplier management activities within the I&L Category. Annual spend value above $100M
This is a global role; hence the incumbent would need to understand global strategic sourcing and should be able to establish vendor connections across regions.
Global coordination and collaboration with the other Procurement teams is key.
Take the Lead and contribute to the Procurement Organization to deliver the results defined by the procurement plan in support of the broader business requirements.
Lead a high-performance team and ensure proper implementation of leading-edge procurement capabilities to become a world class procurement Organisation.

Responsibilities
Develop Category and supporting sourcing strategies for category spend.
Supply Market Analysis for Services spend category incl. price benchmarking.
Drafting and Negotiating contracts; drive the preparation of proposal documents statement of works (SOWs) quotations and bids with pertinent specifications terms and conditions committed.
Develops review negotiate and executes complex business agreements and contracts as needed; Authoritatively apply appropriate procurement approach in negotiations independently prepare and lead negotiations to conclusion.
Supplier evaluation selection and set-up of ongoing performance management; Rate and lead performance of suppliers ensure supplier performance of all contracts.
Drive relationships with business stakeholders to understand their business priorities and align those with category strategy.
Responsible for savings targets timely deliveries and Customer Satisfaction within the agreed SLAs/KPIs.
Carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within the specified time scales as needed.
Develop and drive effective relationships with suppliers Coordinate review and respond to supplier inquiries protests and appeals.
Drive the team performance and mentor team members as needed.


Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant years of experience in demonstrating a consistent track record of delivery of successful sourcing projects.
Proven category expertise (has completed moderately complex sourcing projects which brought measurably improved results). Category experience needed.
Must be able to demonstrate working to tight deadlines and independently.
Experience in handling sourcing processes / business operations/ risk assessment/ audit/ process reengineering/ automation is essential.
Working knowledge on ERPs (Oracle Workday) and understanding of organization application architecture.
Hands on experience in BI /Process Mining and Office (MS Excel Access SharePoint etc.) in providing solutions to business problems.

Exercises sound judgement on day-to-day business problems and provides recommendations for solving course correction ability to act on own initiative.
Communicates clearly and with an expansive style.
Ability to lead a team of diverse skill set professionals (when required either in a line management role or as part of a matrix team)
Oral and written proficiency in English
Proven track record of supporting multiple sourcing activities demonstrating an ability to lead parallel projects and being able to prioritize critical activity where needed.

Degree or equivalent professional qualification within Business Management Procurement and/or Supply Chain management (would preferred)
